Being a beekeeper is one of the greatest pleasures and honors in my life because I get to interact with the amazing honey bee. For instance, did you know that honey bees have a super power, they are pollinators! Therefore, we have many nutritious and delicious foods, thanks to them. I will delve into discoveries and ways that we can protect our little pollinators. So, what are they doing on these beautiful Fall days? In addition to enjoying the warmth, stretching their wings, orienting to their surroundings our industries little friends are managing to locate pollen. Here is one sharing a lone dandelion with a fellow pollinator and another bringing home the pollen for her family.
