Weekend Skiing

Supplemental 2021 Ski Outing- Thacher North:

 

This is a supplemental Saturday event for the non-retired crowd led by Josh Bennett. We’ll be skiing the north end of Thacher park. The trail will be generally flat. It is well packed in by skiers, snowshoers and fat bikers, but it’s not track-groomed like an xc center. We will do somewhere between 2 and 6 miles, depending on how adventurous the group is. Either way there will be some great views of the Mohawk valley, and Western MA/ southern VT if it’s clear. 

 

Meet at the Paisano’s pizza parking lot in Altamont (corner of 156 and Main) at 9, and we’ll caravan up to the Old Stage trailhead parking area.
