Spring Flower Walks – CANCELED

MAY 19   Pine Hollow: Pine Hollow is an arboretum so there are many different species of trees, including a spectacular huge Dawn Redwood.  As well as a large collection of spring-blooming wild flowers and bulbs, we can expect to see magnolias, rhododendron, azalea, and silver bells.  Sigrin Newell will lead us.

             Directions: From the Capital Region you can take Rt. 90 until it turns right at exit 4 into Rt. 85.  Continue on Rt. 85 through roundabouts about 5 miles until you reach the Price Chopper parking area, at the intersection with New Scotland Rd.  Meet in front of Bellini’s Italian Restaurant; due to very limited parking at the arboretum we will carpool from there.  For internet directions use the address 34 Pine Hollow Road Slingerlands, NY 12159
