Betsy Henry, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at Anchor QEA where she specializes in site characterization, ecological risk assessment, and restoration of contaminated sites in terrestrial and aquatic environments. She helped found Schenectady Greenmarket and leads ReTree Schenectady, an all-volunteer organization which has planted 3,000+ trees in Schenectady in the past 30 years.
In her ECOS Speaker Series presentation, Betsy will focus broadly on urban forestry and how the City of Schenectady and Retree have partnered together in the past, and what they are doing now.
