May 7th- Ed Kautz Porch & Pollinator Meet Up

Join ECOS as we remember the legacy of Ed Kautz, and his passion for native plants to
support pollinators. Nancy Peterson will give us a tour of the native plants around their yard
in Schenectady, and we will strategize how ECOS might help shift the norm of lawns!
We will also discuss:
- A brief history of American lawns
- The importance of planting native species
- How we can all participate in supporting our native ecosystem
- How we can make our lawns more eco-friendly
