Tom Twente, Grow Amsterdam – Composting
Tom will present on the benefit of composting by improving soil structure, water holding capacity, and nutrient storage. Organic matter like food that is thrown away creates methane gas which affects the atmosphere, contributing to climate change. He will provide instruction on how to begin and maintain your own composting site.
