ECOS Bike Ride

May 25 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Come Ride With ECOS

Invasive species threaten our natural habitat, and climate change promises to bring more of them. Come learn about these invaders while getting in some recreation, fun and fresh air. Join ECOS: The Environmental Clearinghouse for a ride on the Mohawk-Hudson Bike Hike led by Spencer Barrett, an expert from PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management), who will talk about invasive species along the way.

The casual ride will start at the Schenectady County Community College entrance to the trail at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, and go to Lock 8 and back, a distance of 8.5 miles. Helmets required. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Rain cancels.
